Commercial and Industrial Design

Ci Design is a storage and server enclosure solutions provider that meets both high-end performance and stringent price point requirements. Located in Irvine, California, Ci Design manufactures and custom designs high-density rack mountable enclosure solutions for the OEM, VAR and reseller markets since 1983.
We constantly leverage Research and Development resources to develop the most dependable storage and server enclosures utilizing the latest interface technologies. Ci Design constantly co-tests with industry leaders in high tech hard drive and interconnectivity manufacturers to ensure the highest performance, MTBF and interoperability.
Ci Design is well positioned as an industry leader in providing Tier 1 OEM solutions as well as VAR server and storage building blocks solutions. Ci Design serves major OEM customers such as IBM, Seagate and Toshiba who require the most stringent quality control. And, we are among the first to adopt SCSI, Fibre Channel and Serial ATA technologies.

Global Manufacturing
|
|
Ci Design has two global manufacturing centers (over 20,000 square feet total) that can handle the tasks of high volume production and smaller, more sophisticated builds.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Each production member is supported by a graphically illustrated documentation system showing every detail of the build. Components are inspected upon arrival. Further testing is performed during the assembly process. A final inspection completes the process before the finished product is packaged and shipped.
|

|
Our goal is to have products available to ship directly from our warehouse to you...exactly when you need them.

Environmental Care
|
|
Ci Design is committed to protecting the environment and has put it into action by lead-free manufacturing and control of the usage of other materials to implement RoHS-compliant.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Under RoHS (Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances), the European Legislation, after July 1, 2006, lead, hazardous substances, and other materials from most electronic components, products, and assemblies will be required to be reduced or removed.
|
|
|
|
|
|
We are already shipping high volumes of RoHS compliant products and packages to meet the demand
